The Playhouse is a superb flexible space at first-floor level. It seats 55 people plus up to 5 performers for studio theatre and other performance forms.
It also functions as a hireable room for classes, lectures, meetings and social gatherings including ceilidhs and celebrations.
Our large screen and projector is ideal for watching live sporting events.
There is a pop-up bar contained in an old piano that belonged in the room, now offering beer on draught!
For performances, the room can be set lengthways or side-on for the most intimate connection with the audience. Theatre PA, screen and projector, staging rostra and stage lighting are available for hire within the space. Community use is encouraged with excellent hall hire rates available.
Unfortunately, the room is not yet wheelchair accessible
