Websters is a unique venue with multiple spaces to hire.
As an arts and entertainment venue you can book the Theatre (240 capacity), Playhouse (55 capacity) and Wee Room (20 capacity).
For small weddings, private functions, meetings, exhibitions and events the Playhouse, Downstairs Bar, Snug and Wee Room can all be hired with catering available on site to suit your requirements individually or in combination.

Our Theatre is an intimate 240 seat intimate performance venue with a deep stage, backstage crossover, wings and dressing rooms to the sides.
Websters Theatre is the newest theatre in Glasgow and has rapidly gained popularity since opening in 2014. Situated on busy Great Western Road next to Kelvinbridge Underground Station it is extremely accessible and visible to the passing public making it an attractive venue for hire by theatre companies and other forms of stage performance.

As well as serving as an occasional theatre crush bar, we offer this ornate interior with it associated Snug as an ideal function space on its own or together with the Playhouse directly above making a total package for a special occasion.

Websters is fortunate in having not just a 240 seat theatre but a smaller versatile studio space with a seating capacity of 55 persons called the Playhouse.
The Playhouse is ideal for small plays, cabaret, singer-songwriters as well as being a community space for classes and a room for private hire. small weddings, ceilidhs and celebrations. It has its own ‘piano bar’ with a range of draught beers and spirits all housed within a small piano. The room also has a small PA and offers lighting options for performance.

This lovely room can hold more than 20 and can be used for rehearsal, seminar, pocket performance, private dining or a room for a bride.
